Your Teen Has Been Selected! ๐ŸŽ‰

Weโ€™re so excited to welcome your teen to Peer Guide Academy this summer! Theyโ€™ve been selected to join a small group of high schoolers building real-world peer support and leadership skills through this hybrid training program.

About the Program

The Peer Guide Academy โ€“ Peer Counseling Training Program is a specialized summer training program designed for high school students who want to develop peer counseling skills and become compassionate leaders. Created and led by licensed psychologist Dr. Stephanie Rooney, this hybrid program equips teens with active listening techniques, emotional literacy, and effective communication strategies to support their peers.

Through hands-on training, video skill demonstrations, and interactive practice, students will learn to build trust, foster positive relationships, and provide support in a way that helps others flourish. Participants who demonstrate key counseling and mentoring skills will receive a certificate of completion and be eligible for future advanced peer counseling programs.

Note: Peer Guide Academy is an educational training program, not a therapy group. It is not considered a form of therapeutic intervention and is not eligible for insurance reimbursement.
