Rachel (She/Her/Hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#112580) who joined the Practice SF team in February of 2023. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA, and went on to obtain her Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Southern California.

Rachel specializes in working with school-aged children utilizing a culturally sensitive trauma-informed strength-based approach. Rachel is a therapist that prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion in her therapeutic practice.

Rachel has worked with children and families in various settings throughout her career in Los Angeles and the Bay Area. In building her therapeutic relationships, Rachel strives to utilize a holistic approach to aid clients in navigating and flourishing within their environments. Rachel utilizes different frameworks to match each client’s individual needs, including Attachment Theory, ACT, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Theory, CBT, Play Therapy, SPACE, and Trauma & Resiliency Informed Care. Rachel also has experience facilitating groups for children and parents and is certified as a Reflective Parenting Program Facilitator.

Rachel feels passionate about working collaboratively with her clients and their families to individualize treatment plans that build on strengths while maintaining an empathetic, lighthearted, and creative approach to therapy.

Rachel is a Los Angeles native who moved to the Bay Area in 2021. She enjoys exploring new restaurants, parks, and parts of the bay area with her husband, friends, and puppy!
