Logann Haworth, LMFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Logann Haworth, Practice San Francisco Therapist

Logann Haworth (she/her) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #148737) who believes that healing happens in relationships—both with others and with ourselves. As a white, cisgender woman with lived experience navigating early grief and growing up in a non-traditional family, Logann brings a deep understanding of how systems, loss, and identity shape our mental health. Her own journey through therapy and ongoing work with anxiety, trauma, and healing have profoundly influenced the therapist she is today – empathetic, down-to-earth, and real.

Logann works with children, teens, and their families using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), and attachment-focused strategies. She particularly enjoys supporting kids and teens with OCD, anxiety, and life transitions, always with the goal of reducing shame and fostering emotional safety.

She approaches therapy through a culturally curious and relational lens, recognizing how dynamics of power and privilege show up in and outside of the therapy room. Logann strives to create a welcoming space for all clients—including those who may not always see themselves reflected in traditional systems of care. She values honesty, laughter, collaboration, and the humanity we all bring into the room.

Logann considers herself a lifelong learner—continually expanding her clinical awareness through ongoing training, whether it’s about identity, perinatal mental health, supporting parents of children with OCD, or anything else addressing the always evolving needs of the communities she serves.

Before joining her current practice, Logann supported kids with developmental disabilities at Lattice Educational Services and worked as a counselor at Edgewood Center for Children and Families. She also provided school-based mental health care through the Youth Service Bureaus, working closely with elementary and middle school students providing both individual and group therapy.

Logann earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco and her B.A. in Psychology from Sonoma State University. She currently lives in Mill Valley and sees clients primarily in Marin and one day a week in San Francisco. Outside of work, you can find her walking her dog, enjoying a weekend getaway, going to yoga, or sharing meals with the people she loves.
